- I originally called this blog A Woman in Berlin after the anonymous diaries of a journalist who described the lives of women in Berlin shortly after the war. Having just moved to Berlin myself, it seemed like an apt title... Skipping ahead 70 years, my blog attempts to capture snippets of today's Berlin in an era of dazzling artistic resurgence and freedom that few other cities can match.
